The Sixth Glasgow in London Dinner at Guildhall

The sixth Glasgow in London dinner held at the beautiful Old Library in Guildhall on Tuesday the 5th September 2023 and hosted by Trades House, Glasgow.

This is an occasion for all of the 14 Incorporations to meet and join with those craft members who are unable to attend Glasgow functions on a regular basis.

After Guests were greeted by a lone piper at the entrance to the venue, we enjoyed an exquisite meal and listened to beautiful singing from soprano singer, accompanied by her pianist.

The Welcome speech was presented by Bruce Reidford Deacon Convener, followed by Grace from Richard Paterson Collector of the House.

Members of the Wright’s Master court in attendance were Deacon Don Mckillop, Collector Jacqui Sayer-Noble, Past Deacon Shirin Parsno, Collector elect Judy Taylor-Smith, currently Prime Warden of the Worshipful Company of Basketmakers and Colvin Rae Master of two years.

It was good to see so many of the wright’s members in attendance.

It was a wonderful and memorable evening.
